After user signup he or she doesn’t have to sign up again they only have to do is login. After login is complete the user comes to the main page. In the main page the users can see the files been uploaded to the up if they are used this service before, if there are first time users they want see anything because they haven’t upload anything yet. In the home page there are 3 buttons 1st one is upload 2nd one is settings and the 3rd one is share buttons. To be success in this app the user needs to be flow the steps.1st step they have to upload something to the PickBox then they can share it , 1st is uploading needs to be done when the user hits on upload button it goes in to the upload page in the upload page there is two ways of upload to the pick box one is you can upload or embed the link or you can hit on browse button to upload files from the phones memory after the selection been done you need to hit on to upload button to upload to PickBox, then it take you back to the main page automatically, and in the home page you can see what you have just upload and also what been upload before if you an a old user. Which easiest way and time saver if you have an multiple accounts.
Who is the target audience? For this application the target audiences are people around the world any age male or female, whoever can use the computer and also have 2 or more accounts on social web sites.
Is it Safe? Pickbox for Teams enjoys the highest level of security. Everything on Pickbox is fully protected and automatically backed up. Only properly authenticated people with permission have access to files, unless it is explicitly shared publicly.
Usability test
I did this usability test on 2 users to observe people using the product to discover errors and areas of improvement. This Usability testing generally involves measuring how well test subjects respond in four areas: efficiency, accuracy, recall, and emotional response.
Performance -- How much time and how many steps are required for people to complete basic tasks? (For example, to upload, create a new account, and order send.)
User 1: User 1. Is a new user so he have to sign up then after signup he had to log in this is the only part it takes a bit of time? because when he signup he had to fill a form, name, surname, username, password then signup, because to use of like any other kind of app’s you need to do few persuaders.
User 2; User 2 also did the same as user 1 did. It only took the both user only less than a minutes to be access in to the main page.
There are couple of steps to be success in this up to be work in this up. first you need to download the app to your Smartphone then hit on to start, then login to your account or if not a user you need to signup, after you passed the first bit you can go into the home page if you are a new user we recommend you to read the information’s on how to use the app from login or signup page. in the home page there is 3 step, 1st step is ,uploading files to your app, second one is settings and last bit of this app to be success is share button. So there is 5 steps,1 start, 2 signup or login, 3 upload, 4 settings and 5 is share.
Accuracy -- How many mistakes did people make? (And were they fatal or recoverable with the right information?)
The both user did the same mistake and tyred to used the app with out of reading the information page on how is this app works. the only mistakes they did was, in the information page it says if you have and account on social websites the account on this app should be the same name to apple can be done, and also that how the pick box can be access to your account to upload .The users used different account names then their social sites. That’s why they were not able to upload anything on to Pickbox
Recall -- How much does the person remember afterwards or after periods of non-use?
The both users loved the app, because it and they said they will be using the form know on because it saves time for more the a social platform users to upload.
Emotional response -- How does the person feel about the tasks completed? Is the person confident, stressed? Would the user recommend this system to a friend?
The user 1 and user 2 after they complete they first uploading they didn’t believed it and went in to their social sites and check if it worked or not and after they saw the result they loved it...

ASSIGNMENT 1

IPAD
First of all I would like to mention that I have worked on this assignment by myself and “Attention; I pad it is not a new invention, it’s an updated version of Newton and Newton was invented in 1993 by Apple”.
For this assignment I did lots of reading and researching about the product "IPAD" and also I bought one after doing this assignment because I thought it might be good for my business presentations.
I have chosen the one of the most popular electronic device at the moment in the global, which is I PAD’s. There two types of I pad’s, first I pad 1st generation and I pad 2nd generation “. Apple recently announced of the iPad was easily the most anticipated tech news of the year. For the research assignment on electronic device I pad I like to start with giving a statistics this statistics to prove how is the electronic object is popular.
· Timeline & Sales · - April 8th – 450,000 iPads Sold total 5 days after launch, 3.5 Million -- iPad Apps and 600,000 iBooks downloaded · - June 21 – 3,000,000 iPads in 80 days |
“This statistics shows that to me the product did very good.”
History
The IPad project started in 1993 by then it wasn’t called iPad it was called The Newton. When Phil Becker saw that the Internet (which first opened to commercial traffic in 1991) was fast becoming a game that only large corporations were allowed to join. His vision was a simple device with easy configurations that allowed an average person to not only connect to the Internet, but have the same power and ability the much larger corporations enjoyed It took two more years of dedicated development and field testing to fully realize the IPAD as a commercial product. The first units shipped late in 1995 and allowed small ISP businesses to appear almost overnight.
I pad is like iPhone and iPod Touch, the iPad is controlled by a multitouch display a departure from most previous tablet computers, which used a pressure-triggered stylus—as well as a virtual onscreen keyboard in lieu of a physical keyboard. The iPad uses a wireless local area network ("Wi-Fi") connection to access local area networks and the Internet. Some models also have a 3G wireless
What is the Product
This product is design for everyone who can see main thing about iPad is very light and think also touch screen and battery life is lasting around 10 hours...so there is no age limit there is something for everyone like watching movies listening music’s playing games, reading books relieve your photo memories and more. There over millions of apps you can choose and download it from.”You can’t download all because no one has launched that big hard drive yet”.
The iPads is a line of tablet computers developed and marketed by Apple Inc. and designed by Jonathan Ive primarily as a platform for audio-visual media including books, periodicals, movies, music, games, and web content.the i pads are approx size of A4 paper maybe a bit smaller that and 40 or 50 pages thick “0.5mm” ”. The iPads runs the same operating system as the iPod Touch and iPhone and can run its own applications as well as iPhone applications. Without modification, the iPads will only run programs approved by Apple and distributed via the Apple App Store (with the exception of programs that run inside the iPad's web browser). Once you pick up iPad , it’ll be hard to put down. That’s the idea behind the all-new design. It’s thin and up to light, so it feels more comfortable in your hands. And it makes surfing the web, checking email, watching movies, and reading books so natural, you might forget there’s incredible technology under your fingers. Lets talk about little more about iPads and see what inside it...
Let's get in more to ipads and look at it closer;
Ipad has LED-backlit display “The view is amazing.”
IPad is one big, beautiful display — 9.7 inches of high-resolution photos, movies, web pages, books, and more. LED backlighting makes everything you see remarkably crisp, vivid, and bright. Even in places with low light, like an airplane. And there’s no wrong way to hold iPad. It’s designed to show off everything in portrait and landscape, so with every turn (even upside down), the display adjusts to fit. Because it uses a display technology called IPS (in-plane switching), it has a wide, 178° viewing angle. Hold it up to someone across the room, or share it with someone sitting next to you, and everyone gets a brilliant view.
One of the best thing about ipad,it has Multi-Touch."Everything’s at your fingertips".
Technology is at its best when it feels completely natural, almost like there’s no technology at all. That’s Multi-Touch on iPad. You use your fingers to do everything, so everything you do — surfing the web, typing email, reading books, and swiping through photos — is easier and a lot more fun. How does it work? When your fingers touch the display, it senses them using electrical fields. Then it instantly transforms your taps, swipes, pinches, and flicks into lifelike actions. Just like that.
Ipad has iOS 4in it whish is the world’s most advanced mobile operating system.
iOS 4 is the operating system for iPad (along with iPhone and iPod touch). It lets you browse, read, and see everything just by touching the screen. It includes all the powerful, innovative, and fun built-in apps you use every day, many times a day. And it’s the platform on which more than 90,000 other amazing apps have been created for iPad. It’s highly secure, stable, and responsive, and it’s made to work seamlessly with the iPad hardware. iOS 4 is the reason no other device has yet come close to iPad.
And also iPad knows your every move.
With the built-in accelerometer, you can rotate iPad to portrait or landscape, or even upside down, and whatever you’re watching, reading, or seeing adjusts to fit the display. And now the accelerometer, three-axis gyroscope, and compass all work together. They sense which direction iPad is heading and how it’s moving. So games, maps, and other apps know your every twist, turn, tilt, and 360. It’s an epic win for gaming. And it’s just the beginning of better-than-ever iPad apps.
In ipad 2 they have inserted Two cameras.
You’ll see the two cameras on iPad — one on the front and one on the back. They may be tiny, but they’re a big deal. They’re designed for FaceTime video calling, and they work together so you can talk to your favorite people and see them smile and laugh back at you.3 The front camera puts you and your friend face-to-face. Switch to the back camera during your video call to share where you are, who you’re with, or what’s going on around you. When you’re not using FaceTime, let the back camera roll if you see something movie-worthy. It’s HD, so whatever you shoot is a mini-masterpiece. And you can take wacky snapshots in Photo Booth. It’s the most fun a face can have.
Applications
The iPad comes with several applications, including Safari, Mail, Photos, Video, YouTube, iPod, iTunes, App Store, iBooks, Maps, Notes, Calendar, Contacts, and Spotlight Search. Several are improved versions of applications developed for the iPhone or Mac.
Recognition
The iPad was selected by Time Magazine as one of the 50 Best Inventions of the Year 2010, while Popular Science chose it as the top gadget behind the overall "Best of What's New 2010" winner Groasis Waterboxx.
